Serving at Church

Audio Visual Ministry Team
The A/V Ministry Team welcomes new members who are comfortable with (or want to learn about) audio or video recording and projection equipment, computers, and media content tools.
Saturday mornings twice monthly
Blessed Aprons
Volunteers in this group have a passion for hospitality. Service needs for the team could include preparing food for small/large groups, serving catered food at a gathering, decorating for an event, and more.
Buildings and Grounds Committee
This committee is responsible for
overseeing the upkeep and maintenance
of the church property. It also approves expenditures needed for property improvement.
Kids Ministry Team
The Kids Ministry Team provides oversight for the programming for children and their families. If you enjoy working with children and helping families to connect through faith and fellowship, then come join us! The team meets once a month during the week.
Gardeners
Do you like to garden? You can be a part of our small team of gardeners to share in maintaining and beautifying our Celebration Garden.
Micah 6:8
The Micah 6:8 group continues its commitment to living out Christ’s
commandment to “love one another”
by actively supporting ministries that work for reconciliation and amplify that all people are equally loved and accepted by God. The group meets the second Wednesday of the month.
Music Ministry
Our worship experience is enhanced by our music ministry, which spans a wide breadth of styles, embracing traditional, contemporary, and anything in between. Opportunities to serve in Music Ministry include participation in the Westminster Choir, instrumental groups, youth praise band, and other special music capacities. Whether it’s hymn, psalm, or spiritual song, we believe in the commandment to make music in and from hearts to the Lord!
3rd Tuesday of the month
Library Volunteers
If you love books and have some time to help, please join us. Help is especially needed in the Children's Library.
Contact the office for meeting times
Usher Service
Being an usher is a great way to meet and greet your fellow Christians. Consider helping at one service on one Sunday per month, by coming 15 minutes early and staying 15 minutes after the service to clean up. This
volunteer opportunity comes with on-the-job training by your crew’s head usher and usher captain, so there are no meetings to attend! Women, youth, men, and families are welcome.
Visual Arts Committee
The Visual Arts Committee works to create new ways to visually praise God. Artwork, flowers, decorations, and banners help make the message more visual to experience God’s presence in our lives, both in worship and throughout the church campus. Members brainstorm ways to make a visually pleasing atmosphere through strategically placing decorations fitting to the major spiritual events. We’re always looking for creative people to join us!

If you would like to serve a meal, help is aways appreciated. If you would like to make a financial contribution, you can send a check to the church office with PADS in the memo, or donate online.

If you, your family or small group would like to sign up for on-site delivery to each room, please reach out by email.

Food Drives
Supporting our local food pantry partners. Our gifts for the People’s Resource Center and Interfaith Food Pantry are a huge blessing to help feed hungry families in our community, especially in this time of need.
Meal Team Ministry
Would you be willing to offer meals to church families in need? We are looking for volunteer cooks to be on our Meal Team list. When the team hears about someone’s illness, surgery, new baby, etc., we offer them meals. As a volunteer cook, you’ll receive an e-mail with information about dates, dietary needs and addresses. If you are able to furnish a meal for that family, you simply respond to the email and sign up for a particular date. Almost 100 meals have been provided to First Pres families so far this year. Contact the church office.
