Sunday, Septemeber 12, Special Events

The Barbary Coast Dixie land Band will be playing at both of our morning worship services, which will be at the
NEW FALL TIMES of 8:40 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Come back to church with your friends at 3:00 p.m. that same day for a concert and stage show by the Barbary Coast Dixieland Band, which will be held in our Sanctuary. No reservations are needed, but arrive early for the best seats. A free-will offering will be taken.

| No 7:30 a.m. service will be held so that everyone can enjoy this great band. Sunday School begins and will again be from 9:55 a.m. - 10:50 a.m. Between worship services there will be a Connections Expo in the Ministry Center and a Genesis Bake Sale. |

On Sunday, September 19, we will begin returning to the regular fall schedule. Worship
services will normally be held at 7:30 a.m. in the Chapel and at 8:40, and 11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary. Pathways
Adult Education and Sunday School programs for children will both be offered during our
Education Hour from 9:55 to 10:50 a.m. Visitors
are welcomed to all, and childcare is available for both the 8:40 and 11:00 services
and during the Education Hour.
The 11:00 a.m. worship service on the second Sunday each month is a Contemporary Service in the Sanctuary. Our next Contemporary Worship Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on October 10, 2010. On September 12, the second Sunday of the month, we will be enjoying the Barbary Coast Dixieland Band.
Our next Taizé Prayer Service will
be held on Friday, September 10, 2010, at 7:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary
here at First Presbyterian Church. These are normally held on the second Friday of each month.
As shown in our church's Vision Statement,
we are called to be the body of Christ striving to celebrate God’s grace and
love, to be transformed by Christ’s love, and to extend the love of the Holy
Spirit to all.
